Question:           What device should I buy?

RESPONSE:         We suggest a USB device because of it's universal appeal. It will work with your laptop, desktop or a colleagues laptop. They are not "machine specific". There is no disc required. The software and drivers are installed right from the device. 

QUESTION:        I would prefer to have one that does not protrude from my laptop for fear of breaking it. Is that possible?

RESPONSE:         We also have the PCMCIA cards and Express or X-press cards. If you are sure get the make and model of the laptop and "Google" it for the specs. If the laptop is over 3 years old it will most likely have the wider PCMCIA slot. For the newer models it will probably have Express or X-press slot. These devices will not work with a desktop.

QUESTION:        What kind of speeds can I expect?

RESPONSE:         In our EVDO (high speed) areas you can expect anywherefrom 800 kbs to 1.5 megs , with occasional peaks you  can reach 2 megs of download. Upload speeds range from 300-500 kbs.

QUESTION:        Does it come Activated?

RESPONSE:         Yes...after the software is installed your computer will re-boot. When it comes back up you will have a "Smart View" icon on your screen. Click the icon and then click "yes" on the auto activate..

QUESTION         Does it work with my Mac computer?

RESPONSE:           Yes, it works with Mac 10.5 or greater. Windows 2000...Xp....and Vista. 

QUESTION:        Where can I use it?

RESPONSE:         All carriers offer Nationwide service, although user speeds can differ based on location.

QUESTION:     Can I use the device in Europe?

RESPONSE:         There are devices and plans designed for International use. Each carrier offers different products and plans for International customers.

QUESTION:        Is it $59.99 per month for unlimited service?

RESPONSE:         No, each carrier offers a 5 gb plan. This is equivalent to 1.7 million e-mails per month to give you an idea of how mudh usage that 5 gb offers.

QUESTION:        Does the $59.99 include tax?

RESPONSE:         No, state taxes apply. Most monthly bills run approx. $63.00.

QUESTION:        What if I exceed the 5 GB?

RESPONSE:   You will be charged an overage of (5) cents per mgb. It takes 1000 mgb to eual 1 geg  

QUESTION:        Is there a warranty on the product?

RESPONSE:         Yes, 1 year.

QUESTION:        Can I run more than one computer with a single device?

RESPONSE:         Yes, with a Wireless Router Route, but it must able to except one of the card types. You can "light up" at least 5 computers within the router coverage.

QUESTION:        Does the device have it's own battery?

RESPONSE:         There are batteries in these devices now. .

QUESTION:        Can I add this to my current Wireless account?

RESPONSE:         Yes, but we will need some specific info from you. Your account number, PIN for the account, and Security question in case we are ask.

QUESTION:        Is there a  way to bundle the monthly price with my current plan?

RESPONSE:         No, the Connection CResponserd stResponsends Responselone.

QUESTION:        My device gets warm. Is that normal?

RESPONSE:         Yes, it is constently streaming data from the network which makes the device warm.

QUESTION:        Can I just leave the device in the computer?

RESPONSE:         Yes, but you should disconnect it before you retire for the evening.

QUESTION:        Can't I just use the Wi-Fi system, I hear about all the time? 

RESPONSE:         Wi-Fi only allows you to connect to the Web within a specific area. Once you leave the area you are "out of range" and the Wi-Fi will no longer work. In addition some Wi-Fi systems charge a 24 HR on Hourly usage rate.
