Often, companies use pipelines. You have sales pipelines, communication pipelines, and obviously the water and power “pipe”-lines that keep on the company running.

So a business is a series of pipes, and even the most reliable old pipes and the best new pipes money can sprout leaks. These leaks may not cause your whole business to flood and be ruined, but eventually even the smallest leaks can cause huge amounts of damage. For example, if one employee is talking to your company’s competitor about your strategy for the next fiscal year, that could do allot of damage. In the same way, if your bills are being charged small additional superfluous charges, in the long run that could cost you millions!

Unfortunately, leaks in your company’s pipelines aren’t as easy to spot as physical leaks, because it’s easier for people to justify company leaks. Phrases such as “this is the way it’s always been” and “we don’t have the time to look into this” don’t often surface when your shoes are filling up with water.

So make sure your company takes the time to look at all your pipelines thoroughly, and if they don’t know what to look for, or find major leaks and don’t know how to fix them…Call a business plumber! There are many companies that say they will fix your leaks, but there are certain reliable companies that work to fix these leaks so they don’t become a problem in the long run. Those reliable companies will always have many customers that are willing to give referrals and speak with potential new customers about the services they received.

Limitless Technology ~ Cost Reduction Specialists is here to fix all your telecom “leaks” and problems. Using a contingency based~no risk model, we specialize in reducing companies’ telecom and technology monthly recurring expenses by removing inaccuracies, obtaining credits and negotiating better go forward contract rates.

Posted by: Todd Larsen, CEO of Limitless Technology~Cost Reduction Specialists

Wouldn’t you agree…?

…Most organizations have wonderful personnel that each and every day go to work giving their absolute best effort to ensure a company is working efficiently.

Whether you agree or not, I believe understanding efficiency is knowing exactly what that word or term means. Let’s look at the dictionary definition:

ef·fi·cien·cy

// Show Spelled [ih-fish–uh                         n-see] Show IPA

noun, plural ef·fi·cien·cies.

1. the state or quality of being efficient; competency in performance

2. accomplishment of or ability to accomplish a job with a minimum expenditure of time and effort: The assembly line increased industry’s efficiency.

3. the ratio of the work done or energy developed by a machine, engine, etc., to the energy supplied to it, usually expressed as a percentage.

4. efficiency apartment.

So now we know what the definition of efficiency is…so let’s look at the most important key to the definition as it is defined, and according to what I will call employed expectation.

Most Companies believe their employees should know near everything about their job function. And while this is an incredible ideal, would you say it is realistic? Most Companies believe their employees have a deep level of knowledge, which in truth, is difficult to obtain or is unavailable to them. In telecom it would be in some areas such as:

constantly changing pricing

competitive pricing

new product and services

vendor margin modeling

vendor cost allocations

affimity discount programs

vertical discount programs

taxation differentiations

tariff rates

USOC codes

USF rate charges

CSR reports

CDR reports

Utilization Reports

Then if they made available to them how do they decipher the information, and how long will a Company give the employee to not only learn, but perform this function when they have multiple other job duties which may be considered to have higher priorities. Most often learning of his kind is not in the employees training, mentoring or readily available to them. Yet it is expected by many Companies the employee(s) deliver on an ongoing basis, effective and efficient procured services which are optimized. So wouldn’t this contradict the first belief?

And…often times Companies burden their employees with the fear of failure in these types of disciplines, because the employees feel they should have their “Companies best interest in mind at all times”. What is not realized, is that employees do have best interests in mind. So the struggle remains between levels of expertise, capabilities and what is most important to accomplish that day. This often detracts from an employee being able to provide additional efficiencies and effectiveness for Company’s billings regarding their products or services.

Highlighted above is the key to efficiency ” to accomplish a job with a minimum expenditure of time and effort”. If a capability does not inherently exist within a Company, and is not already a part of the process and being performed in a machine like manner….Wouldn’t it go to say that some services are much better off being outsourced than in-sourced?

Remember…when you are making the decisions that impact the profitability, effectiveness and efficiency within your business unit or for your entire Company, find the expertise that will ensure efficiency in what you are trying to accomplish.

Based on US Census information, approximately 30,000,000 Americans own a business, and sadly many of them do not survive to their 5th year birthday.

We have compiled a list of 4 main reasons companies fail. These all have equal weighting as problems and need to be resolved in a business. This list was made by our personal experiences with companies that are validated with resources such as the New York Times.

Economies of Scale: Especially for small business, economies of scale are very important. You need to survey your location before you plant roots and set up a business. For example if you are a hardware store with 6 locations and want to set up your 7th, it should probably not be a small venue in between Home Depot and Ace Hardware. This sounds like common knowledge but many businesses do not realize how loyal customers are to certain chains and how hard it is to break that loyalty.

Poor Accounting: Allot of business owners do not understand that you need to know every aspect of how a business functions before you start operating. A large portion of your business is the “back room work” balancing the finances. Without the numbers, you have no idea if your company is losing money or making it….and by the time you know it will be too late.

Changing in consumer tastes: Technology runs the average consumers life at this point. They now think “why buy a book when I can download an e-book?” So it is probably a bad idea to open up a book store at this point. We are NOT telling you that you won’t succeed if you open up a bookstore, but slowly technology is replacing physical paper and music objects. If you do go a little retro with your market, make sure it has an environment that is different and draws customers in, because you will have to offer them an experience as well as your physical product.

Operational Inefficiencies- This topic does not come from Limitless Technology CRS (We reduce your operating inefficiencies by the way…) but from the New York Times. The huge multi-million dollar companies that are now around manufacture their product or services at a super lean overhead rate. If you don’t get the best rates on all your operating expenses, then you could become uncompetitive or even worse obsolete as a company.

Number 4 is where Limitless Technology CRS comes into the picture. We make sure your telecom bills are as low as possible, so your company can better allocate its resources. This will make your company more successful and competitive.

Does a company want profitability for its people or for its shareholders/investors/owners ? Or is it a combination?

Pretty much a no brainer right? Your are in business to make money and profits are the way we measure the amount of money made and shows a scale of success. Profits and losses are indications of whether we’re doing the right things or not. It’s how the people in the marketplace tell a business what is needed and wanted, what should be eliminated, what should be expanded, what needs to be improved, etc. Profits and losses constitute important feedback that improves economic efficiency.

Profits also enable us to grow. If what we’re doing is good, then we need to grow so we can do more good. If we don’t make profits, then there’s something wrong with what we’re doing, and we deserve to go out of business. Businesses rely on profits to buy:

expand operations and

new inventory

finance product development.

Without profit, a business would stagnate and risk losing its market share to other competitors. Large businesses need to raise profits to:

keep share prices high and

pay dividends to shareholders.

If a large business does not generate a profit, its share price falls, which means it cannot raise as much money with share sales and cannot borrow from banks as easily. Companies with falling share prices often become the targets of hostile takeovers by rival firms.

So okay…we get it from business standpoint, but how about from a People standpoint?

I want to keep this one simple. So, like when I was growing up, we used to count the ways. Here are a few of my opinions (and you know what they say about opinions) and ideas…what are yours??

we can employ more People.

we can employ People longer

we can give People opportunity.

we can give People more.

we can give People’s children more.

we can help change or shape People’s life’s.

we can give People higher standards of living.

we can give People better healthcare choices.

we can improve People’s chances of survival.

we give people a chance to be more productive.

productivity usually increases profitability

And isn’t profitability what we are trying to achieve?

What have I missed?

End of the day…Bottom line Profitability may just be all about People. It may be much more.

What do you think?

By Todd Larsen CEO Limitless Technology~CRS Feb, 7th, 2013

When we start our day, we think about our businesses or roles in business. What time is spent on being more effective and efficient vs. getting done what we “think” might be more important? How many times do we go back and say “it feels like the whole day got away from me”.

Why do we do this?

Is it the desire to please others? Can we control the items we let control our day. Does our dream of accomplishment outweigh our desire to fulfill those tasks?

What else contributes to not accomplishing “what is most important”?

Not enough time, not enough people, not enough knowledge? Are these “not enoughs” within our reach, just out of our reach or too far beyond our reach?

About now you are either overloaded with thought, disappointment, disbelief, denial or are thinking “why is this guy asking so many questions”? And to the last question….isn’t that what we should be doing? Asking questions? (He’s doing it again…)

Shouldn’t we be questioning our methods, actions, processes, operations, distribution, tactics, finances etc.? Should we be challenging ourselves to improve: operations, procedures, knowledge base, and financials? Shouldn’t we be challenging the status quo, the mundane, the same, the “we’ve always done it that way?

I believe so. Problem is, we put that responsibility on our own shoulders all too often vs. utilizing the resources that surround us and actually are available to us! We cripple ourselves by thinking, “we, he or she should be able to do that or handle that.” We sometimes even kid ourselves, believing that we actually have the depth or skills to tackle that situation or define a solution for one in which we have little or no experience. In fact, we sometimes expect too much when we believe we or our internal staff has the ability to “know it all.” We forget there are others, (or don’t want to believe there are others) which can help us succeed quicker, faster…even better.

Best part is we can change. We can seek: assistance, guidance, help, support, reason, and knowledge to help improve our businesses. Best of all, by using these resources we can prioritize and accomplish what we do best to ensure we are driving, building and growing the Companies we are part of more efficiently, effectively, productively and profitably.

Bottom line…All we need to do is ask for, or seek some expert help.

Hint for Saving Money on your DSL: “DSL” or Digital subscriber line: a technology that allows high-speed transmission of text, audio, and video, usually over standard telephone lines

Has your Business had to call your local phone service provider to add internet or DSL to your account?

Are you aware that DSL can run over a basic phone or fax line, and that many times they add not only the DSL service but an additional voice line for the DSL to run over?

This additional $30 to $45 dollar expense can be easily avoided by, always requesting that the DSL service be added to an existing line such as your fax or alarm line; both of which can co-exist on the same telephone line. Faxes and modems use voice frequencies and are thus unaffected by your DSL service (Note: a filter may need to be added in some situations). By doing this you have cut your line costs or overall DSL expense, sometimes as much as in half, without affecting any of your existing services.

This the first image a person sees when the search the term “Saving” online:

An iconic childhood item really goes a long way in a person's mind

This is the first definition the World Wide Web brings up when one looks up “Saving“

“Saving includes reducing expenditures, such as recurring costs… In terms of personal finance, saving specifies low-risk preservation of money, as in a deposit account, versus investment, wherein risk is higher.”

Limitless Common Sense intends to break down the definition above, offer our readers some advice on everyday saving, and show you why Limitless Technology CRS is a necessity in your businesses future.

“Saving includes reducing expenditure, such as recurring costs”: Recurring costs are very common for the business people of the world. That suit you need to dry clean and filling your gas tank are good examples. These are costs that do not seem like they can be changed in the short run; however they add up to so much in the long run that people find themselves overwhelmed.

Tip to save on your suits: Suits are an important part of every C-level executive’s life. Now, you may just send out your dry cleaning and not even think about it. We understand you have an important job with enough income to pay full price. However, a true C-level executive is one that maximizes profit and efficiency in every aspect of their lives. So here’s our tip to save money and a trip to the dry cleaners, check the color fastness of your laundry before you bring it to the dry cleaner. If the tag says “DRY CLEAN” and not “DRY CLEAN ONLY” you can test a piece of the unseen clothing and see if the color rubs off the garment. If no color rubs off, you can simply hand wash those clothes and save a bundle! These savings can dramatically impact your personal bottom line in the long run.

Now that you’re thinking about savings, you might be thinking the business you work for needs to improve its professional bottom line. Limitless technology CRS will dramatically reduce your bottom line without you having to give up, time, money, or staff through our professional telecom audits. Limitless Technology CRS (LTCRS) is a company you do not realize you need until you see the results of LTCRS you realize how badly you needed this service. Let Limitless Technology CRS help you. We save the average business 25% on their telecom spend. That is a huge savings for your company.

“In terms of personal finance, saving specifies low-risk preservation of money, as in a deposit account, versus investment, wherein risk is higher.”

Tip to Save: If pouring water on your best dry clean suit is too much of a risk for you, you can go for some safer ways to save. Filling up your tank more efficiently will help you save time, money, and the environment at no risk to you.

1.Fill the tank all the way up – Continually putting small amounts of gas in the tank wastes money because you have to travel back and forth between the gas station and home, which wastes gas.

2.Don’t top off your tank between fills- it is wasted money because it forces liquid fuel where evaporative emissions system which is only supposed to bring evaporative gas into a running engine.

3.Don’t let your tank run out- once a tank gets to 1/4 full; your tank becomes less efficient. Also, a car running on empty will often destroy the pump.

Every C-Level is incredibly aware of the Risk vs. Reward factor in business. Every day you encounter something that could make a dramatic impact on your business positively, but there is no guarantee it will not hurt you either. Limitless Technology CRS may be the first Win/Win solution you have encountered in a while. A way to save your business money with no risk is to hire Limitless Technology CRS. We ask for no upfront fees and get paid based on the work we do for you, also known a saving you money. As a company, you don’t want to spend money to save money. Limitless Technology CRS understands this and that is why we are a no risk opportunity for your business!

Install Occupancy Sensors in spaces that are identified as unoccupied on a regular basis. Spaces to consider include executive offices, photocopier rooms, and conference rooms. Selection of appropriate spaces requires an accurate understanding of how the spaces are currently used. It may be worthwhile to measure and document space occupancies by simply having someone walk around at regular intervals to see which spaces are occupied. ·

These sensors employ a variety of technologies that can detect heat, motion, sound or some combination of these. Most are adjustable in the amount of motion/heat/sound necessary to switch and keep lights on, and the period of time without sensing before turning lights off.

Occupancy Sensors can result in a wide range of savings, depending on the occupancy pattern of the room and the habits of the occupants as many electric Companies offer incentive programs for installing occupancy sensors. Rebates are paid by each sensor in most cases and other paid by the amount of lighting load reduced.
