What Is It?

“OWL Be There for You” was developed in 2013, by the marketing and administration team at Limitless Technology ~ CRS. Todd Larsen, CEO of Limitless Technology, explains “What drew us to create our own charitable project was our passion to help others, our employee’s desires, and my own passions being very diverse. We had difficulty finding one charity that encompasses many different charitable issues and causes. The benefit of OWL Be There for You is our employees get to choose the issue they have passion for, and are able to develop their own focuses under the umbrella of OWL Be There for You.”

Why The OWL?

Each aspect of the logo and name has a unique meaning of what OWL Be There for You represents. Todd declared, “Our Company has always had a strong focus on Green business and conservation, which is represented by the letters O.W.L: the letter “O” stands for Oxygen, “W” for Water, and “L” for Land.” He went on to describe the CRS owls in the logo stand for Care, Reach, Save; which is a calling to Care for Someone, Reach out to Someone, and Save Someone. Todd explained, “The OWLs represent what all of us a LT~CRS care about most, people. We seek to assist those who are underprivileged, needy, impaired, or suffering from life threatening illnesses.”

What Are You Working On?

OWL Be There for You is currently focusing on Todd’s campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Todd is challenging himself to raise the most money possible from February 19th to May 1st, 2014 to aid in blood cancer research. He was personally drawn to this project because cancer has not only severely affected his personal life, but the lives of millions.

“Cancer has affected my family in the loss of my mother, my uncle, and my two cousins. At the time that my older cousin Anita Beth, a mother with a 4 year old girl Kati, died from her rare blood cancer, there were only thirty known cases in the world. Treatments that exist now may have extended or saved her life. The recent loss of a very good friend, Jim Bartoli, to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma pushed me towards running for “Man of the Year” to generate as much income as possible for blood cancer research.”

How Can I Help?

The ways that our virtual community can help are through donations and gifts in kind. If you are in the Orlando area and like golf, LT~CRS is also hosting a charity golf tournament where all profits go to LLS. If you would like to learn more, call 866-504-4050 or visit Owlbethereforyou.com for details. You can also donate now through the LLS website!

It is so frustrating to watch a good company not succeed for these reasons

Based on US Census information, approximately 30,000,000 Americans own a business, and sadly many of them do not survive to their 5th year birthday.

We have compiled a list of 4 main reasons companies fail. These all have equal weighting as problems and need to be resolved in a business. This list was made by our personal experiences with companies that are validated with resources such as the New York Times.

Economies of Scale: Especially for small business, economies of scale are very important. You need to survey your location before you plant roots and set up a business. For example if you are a hardware store with 6 locations and want to set up your 7th, it should probably not be a small venue in between Home Depot and Ace Hardware. This sounds like common knowledge but many businesses do not realize how loyal customers are to certain chains and how hard it is to break that loyalty.

Poor Accounting: Allot of business owners do not understand that you need to know every aspect of how a business functions before you start operating. A large portion of your business is the “back room work” balancing the finances. Without the numbers, you have no idea if your company is losing money or making it….and by the time you know it will be too late.

Changing in consumer tastes: Technology runs the average consumers life at this point. They now think “why buy a book when I can download an e-book?” So it is probably a bad idea to open up a book store at this point. We are NOT telling you that you won’t succeed if you open up a bookstore, but slowly technology is replacing physical paper and music objects. If you do go a little retro with your market, make sure it has an environment that is different and draws customers in, because you will have to offer them an experience as well as your physical product.

Operational Inefficiencies- This topic does not come from Limitless Technology CRS (We reduce your operating inefficiencies by the way…) but from the New York Times. The huge multi-million dollar companies that are now around manufacture their product or services at a super lean overhead rate. If you don’t get the best rates on all your operating expenses, then you could become uncompetitive or even worse obsolete as a company.

Number 4 is where Limitless Technology CRS comes into the picture. We make sure your telecom bills are as low as possible, so your company can better allocate its resources. This will make your company more successful and competitive.

So, who wants to fill their own stocking with coal? Unless you own a struggling coal company the answer is no one. Well, you are “filling your company’s stocking with coal” every time you pay more than you have to on the company’s telecom bills.

You may ask “when do I overpay?” The answer is, every time you write a check to the telecom company. Companies like yours spend thousands and even hundreds of thousands more than they need to on their phone lines. With the hundreds of telecom errors that occur, it would be easy to slip by almost any IT, Finance or Operations person alike.

We know you have professional IT personnel for the technical things in the business, but how often does your IT department get together with your financial branch to review the billing? Probably not often…Right? This is because both groups don’t prefer to get into each other’s domain. The IT department knows all about the technology, and work off the budget they are given based on their requests. The finance department knows all about reducing spending, but doesn’t know the technology well enough to know what to identify on the bills. That’s where we come in.

We are both fluent and skilled in the IT and Financial areas of a business. We will find the best telecom plan for your business that will save you the most money while not compromising the integrity of your IT department. Think of us as your holiday Past, Present, and Future. We look into your past, reduce your telecom spend in the present, and make your company even stronger in the future.

By Todd Larsen CEO Limitless Technology~CRS Feb, 7th, 2013

When we start our day, we think about our businesses or roles in business. What time is spent on being more effective and efficient vs. getting done what we “think” might be more important? How many times do we go back and say “it feels like the whole day got away from me”.

Why do we do this?

Is it the desire to please others? Can we control the items we let control our day. Does our dream of accomplishment outweigh our desire to fulfill those tasks?

What else contributes to not accomplishing “what is most important”?

Not enough time, not enough people, not enough knowledge? Are these “not enoughs” within our reach, just out of our reach or too far beyond our reach?

About now you are either overloaded with thought, disappointment, disbelief, denial or are thinking “why is this guy asking so many questions”? And to the last question….isn’t that what we should be doing? Asking questions? (He’s doing it again…)

Shouldn’t we be questioning our methods, actions, processes, operations, distribution, tactics, finances etc.? Should we be challenging ourselves to improve: operations, procedures, knowledge base, and financials? Shouldn’t we be challenging the status quo, the mundane, the same, the “we’ve always done it that way?

I believe so. Problem is, we put that responsibility on our own shoulders all too often vs. utilizing the resources that surround us and actually are available to us! We cripple ourselves by thinking, “we, he or she should be able to do that or handle that.” We sometimes even kid ourselves, believing that we actually have the depth or skills to tackle that situation or define a solution for one in which we have little or no experience. In fact, we sometimes expect too much when we believe we or our internal staff has the ability to “know it all.” We forget there are others, (or don’t want to believe there are others) which can help us succeed quicker, faster…even better.

Best part is we can change. We can seek: assistance, guidance, help, support, reason, and knowledge to help improve our businesses. Best of all, by using these resources we can prioritize and accomplish what we do best to ensure we are driving, building and growing the Companies we are part of more efficiently, effectively, productively and profitably.

Bottom line…All we need to do is ask for, or seek some expert help.

The following are 14 statistics about taxation in the United States for all to consider….

#1 The top 1 percent of all income earners already pay 39.5 percent of all federal income taxes.

#2 When you take all forms of federal taxation into account, the top 1 percent of all income earners pay 28.1 percent of all federal taxes.

#3 The top 20 percent of all income earners in the United States pay approximately 86 percent of all federal income taxes.

#4 One recent poll found that 64 percent of Americans are in favor of raising taxes on those that make $250,000 or more a year in order to help balance the federal budget deficit. Another recent poll found that 72 percent of Americans favor raising taxes on those making $250,000 or more a year.

#5 Approximately 45 percent of all U.S. households pay absolutely no income taxes at all.

#6 Overall, U.S. households are now receiving more income from the U.S. government than they are paying to the government in taxes. This is clearly not anywhere close to sustainable.

#7 During 2010, the U.S. government paid out a combined $2.3 trillion in unemployment benefits, Social Security benefits, disability insurance, Medicare benefits, Medicaid benefits, benefits for veterans, education assistance and other direct transfers of cash from the government to individual citizens.

#8 59 percent of all Americans now receive a government payout of one form or another.

#9 The ultra-wealthy keep much of their wealth outside of the United States so that the government cannot tax it. It has been estimated that a third of all the wealth in the world is held in “offshore” banks.

#10 Thanks to new corporate tax cuts in Japan, the United States now has the highest corporate tax rate in the developed world.

#11 Large corporations have become masters at avoiding taxes. Back in the 1950s, corporate taxes accounted for about 30 percent of all federal revenue, but in 2009 corporate taxes accounted for just 6.6 percent.

#12 General Electric has been a great friend to the Obama administration. According to the New York Times, General Electric made a total of 14.2 billion dollars in profits last year. So how much did they pay in taxes to the U.S. Treasury? According to the New York Times, not one penny was paid.

#13 Even though Boeing receives billions in federal subsidies every year and even though it has a bunch of juicy government contracts it did not pay a single penny in federal corporate income taxes from 2008 to 2010.

#14 Exxon-Mobil paid $15 billion in taxes in 2009, but not a single penny went to the U.S. government. Meanwhile, their CEO brought in over 29 million dollars in total compensation that year.

However…I think my question was should we worry about taxes? The answer is no. Worrying never helped anything. Instead try to understand better how you can impact future change. Educate your children, or other children if you do not have any, on how taxation affects us and make them better educated voters.

Also, know what you should or should be paying for in taxes (as well as, not paying for). Look at your local candidates, as well as, your state and national government leaders taxation platforms, and make better voting decisions in the years to come.

And when it comes to watching you own personal or business wealth remember…

taxation reduction, cost reduction, lower telecom costs, billing optimization

Thankfully, no one is hurt but your car is severely damaged. The driver who hit you then turns to you and says “I do not have insurance.” Uninsured drivers have become a severe issue in the United States and United Kingdom, but the UK is trying to do something about it.

Approximately 4% of the United Kingdom’s population drives uninsured. The United Kingdom already have CCTV cameras that monitor gas stations customers to make sure they do not steal gas. Now, after a proposal from Ernst & Young, they are utilizing those cameras to also make sure uninsured drivers can’t fill up.

Now uninsured drivers will be caught in the act and be barred from fueling up until their information is recorded. For insured drivers, no record of the customer’s car will be kept.

Isn’t it great that any government cares enough about its good citizens to monitor and stop those who can hurt them? And…Wouldn’t it be great to have a company that guards good companies against wrong billings and corrects them without causing those companies any stress?

Limitless Technology CRS can do just that, but with even less effort for the customer (unlike customers in the UK who may have to wait behind an uninsured driver who can’t fill up at gas stations). With no upfront cost, and with no risk to you…we take your business’ bills and find all those errors and extras fees that cost your company money. Limitless Technology CRS makes sure you know every correction before the corrections are made.

BOTTOM LINE We Improve BOTTOM LINES at no inconvenience to you!

As hurricane Sandy approached nearly 53,000 voices cried out in panic, all of these voices were heard by one woman.

Emily Rahimi is the social media responder for the NYC fire department. Her twitter sends 53,000 New Yorker’s warnings and alerts everyday. But, as hurricane Sandy began flooding homes and streets, those same New Yorkers began sending her messages.

Emily saw cries for her help and comfort. Many citizens could not reach 911 dispatchers, so they flooded the NYC twitter account with pleas for help. Emily assured citizens that help was on the way, then used her line to immediately contact NYPD to send an emergency crew to their locations. Everyone who was able to contact Emily got the help and moral support they needed, some even tweeted her back and thanked her for her help.

This story teaches us two things. The first thing is that, when people need help, sometimes the most unlikely people can become the biggest heroes. This also shows us that Social Media is no longer an social experience, but a forum for people helping people. How many of us have gotten advice from a chat on Facebook or a group on Linkedin? You could almost say those who are not utilizing social media are missing valuable advice and expertise.

For helpful advice and interesting articles, like our Facebook or join us on Linkedin.
My business is a lot like golf, it takes a lot of diligence, patience, and hard work. I am an avid golfer and often like to quote golfer’s views on golf.

Here are some of my favorite quotes by some professional golfers that really relate to my business:

1. “Golf is a game that is played on a five-inch course – the distance between your ears.” ~Bobby Jones

You have to think through every shot in golf, and we have to carefully look through every bill to find you the greatest savings possible without losing any quality of service. Our job is to take the strain off of your mind, think of Limitless Technology as your telecom bill reducing caddy.

2. “I have a tip that can take five strokes off anyone’s golf game: it’s called an eraser.” ~Arnold Palmer

I know what you’re thinking, no…we do not cheat like the expression says, but we do find overcharges the phone companies have left on your bill and ERASE them. We cut down your budget the easiest way possible, by reducing what your already spend.

3. “Forget your opponents; always play against par.” ~Sam Snead

We do not try to undercut competitors with cheaper price, we only receive a portion of what we SAVE you. We challenge ourselves to find you savings and only take a percentage of those savings. Limitless will never cost you extra because BOTTOM LINE, all we want to do is IMPROVE YOUR BOTTOM LINE.

Now I want to leave everyone with the promised joke:

Now,” said the golf pro, “suppose you just go through the motions without actually striking the ball.”
To which his pupil replied, “but that’s precisely the difficulty I’m trying to overcome.”

Don’t keep hacking away at your telecom bill with no luck; let the pros at Limitless Technology help out! (866) 504-4050
